As a child, Della Huff was inspired by her father’s interest in photography. She took her first photography class at the age of 12. She has continued to pursue her passion to achieve the visions of places she forms. Huff specializes in atmospheric landscape, cityscapes, and travel photography worldwide.
Through her in-depth exploration of place, she realizes new perspectives. Observation and artistry converge in her work to capture the character of a location. She describes her style as “simple, bold, and graphic, and with a bit of romanticism and nostalgia thrown in.”
Huff is currently based in her home state of California. Having grown up in Marin County, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, she has a passion for the awesome beauty of nature and the intersection of urban and natural landscapes. Her work appears in Fort Point National Historic Site (Golden State National Parks Conservancy, 2016) and Golden Gate Inspirations (2012). The latter was a commission for the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge. Besides publications, Huff’s work is included in private and public collections.
